Soren Spiers, CHAE
Founding Partner

More than thirty years of Financial Management experience. Formerly Director of Finance for four golf resort facilities owned and operated by the PGA of America and currently Chief Financial Officer for Shadow Wood Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. A large 54-hole high-end private country Club. Fulfilled the roles of both Director of Finance for PGA Golf Properties and the role of Chief Operating Officer for the PGA’s Florida operations.
Solid background in financial reporting, financial analysis, implementation of internal controls, controlling and lowering costs through increased efficiencies, improving financial reporting systems for all subsidiaries allowing senior management to make better long-term strategic and short-term financial decisions. Credited with the successful implementation of new and improved financial systems, improved internal control systems, as well as property-wide property management systems.
Credited with assisting in stabilizing and growing revenues, while lowering costs significantly through increased efficiencies. Also credited with developing a customer centric approach to internal customers that helps drive real value for the business and boosts bottom line performance.
Evan Lasher
Senior Associate

Evan is a highly experienced CPA with a diverse background in private and public accounting. He brings expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and due diligence, making him adept at managing complex financial scenarios and formulating strategic solutions. As the CFO for Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Inc., Evan was responsible for overseeing muti-million dollar fiscal planning, conducting audits and navigating intricate tax matters, highlighting his strong business insight and exceptional communication skills.
In his previous roles at Alpha Staffing and Employee Solutions, Kaplan University, and Fairfield Resorts, Evan successfully managed accounting processes, implemented strategic planning initiatives, and ensured compliance across various entities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
Since 2018, Evan has been serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of Parkland Cares, Inc., a non-profit organization that awards grants to local non-profit agencies who provide mental health services and trauma counseling for those in the South Florida Community.

Jim Oroho
Senior Associate

Jim is a seasoned financial executive with 43 years of experience at JPMorgan Chase, a global leader in financial services with assets exceeding $4 trillion and operations across the world. As Managing Director, Jim was responsible for overseeing both internal management and external reporting for the Firm. His role encompassed forecasting earnings for senior management, coordinating earnings releases, leading the annual report process, and managing SEC and regulatory filings. Jim’s deep expertise in financial operations played a pivotal role in navigating the Firm through its multiple mergers and acquisitions, optimizing infrastructure across platforms, and ensuring effective integration.
Throughout his career, Jim has consistently demonstrated a rare combination of financial acumen, operational insight, and strategic leadership, delivered high-impact projects and driven cost efficiencies across Finance operations. His ability to align financial strategy with organizational goals has been instrumental in maintaining strong financial health for both the Firm and its stakeholders.
Jim is also known for his industry-leading expertise in external financial reporting, earning recognition from both banking sectors and investor communities. With a robust forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management background, Jim has built and managed high-performing teams globally, driving corporate initiatives supporting long-term growth. A results-driven leader, he is passionate about solving complex financial challenges, improving company culture, and optimizing financial workflows. He has successfully led initiatives that streamline processes, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Jim holds a BS in Accounting from Saint Francis University and passed the CPA exam in New Jersey.

Previously serving as a Revenue Management Consulting Analyst at Enterprise Holdings, Inc., he honed his skills in financial reporting and analysis, internal controls, and cost management. Currently, as the Chief Financial Officer at Shadow Wood Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida, a prestigious 54-hole private club, he oversees a robust financial operation valued at $35 million.
In his role at Shadow Wood, Matthew has successfully implemented strategies that enhance financial reporting systems across all subsidiaries, empowering senior management to make informed long-term strategic and short-term financial decisions. His responsibilities encompass financial strategy and planning, budget creation and execution, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance oversight. With a proven track record of managing financial operations exceeding $10 million at Enterprise Holdings and his current achievements, Matthew is dedicated to fostering financial excellence and sustainability within the organizations he serves.
