Sound familiar

You didn't take this job to referee the general ledger.

Four situations bring GMs, owners, boards and finance committees to this page. If one of them is yours, the hour is worth taking.

Payroll creep

Wage pressure quietly reset your cost base

Every year the budget rolls the new number forward instead of catching it. Nobody can point to the year it happened, because it happened in every year.

The increase conversation

Ownership wants the raise justified with numbers you don't have

Rates, fees, dues — whichever it is, the numbers exist. They've just never been assembled into something the room will accept without a fight.

F&B nobody can explain

Cost of sales moves and no one in the room knows why

The controller has a theory, the chef has a different one, and whoever has to sign off is left choosing between two guesses.

The revolving seat

Your last controller left and took the knowledge with them

The close lived in their head, the workpapers lived on their desktop, and the replacement is starting from zero for the third time in five years.

How it works

It's Time to Get Financially Fit

Just One Hour, A Written-Out Plan.

01 · Book the hour

A few quick questions tell us the shape of your organization so we arrive knowing your situation. Then choose a slot that works. Nothing to send us in advance — no statements, no data room, no prep.

40 seconds

02 · Sit down together

A working session, not a presentation. We walk your accounting system, your reporting and your financials with you, and make recommendations as we find things.

60 minutes

03 · Get it in writing

The full report lands in your inbox within 24 hours — findings, recommendations, and the order to do them in. Yours to keep, act on, or hand to your board.

Within 24 hours

The deliverable

What lands in your inbox.

A real report, not a teaser with the answers held back. Everything we found in the hour, written up the way we'd write it for a paying client — because that's the only version we know how to write.

  3. 03

Your reporting gapsWhat your board or ownership is asking for that your current package can't answer, and what it would take to close that.

  4. 04

Systems and controlsWhat your accounting system is doing for you, what it isn't, and where the risk sits today.

  5. 05

The order of operationsThe moves ranked by return and effort — what to do this month, this quarter, and this year.

  6. 06

What you can do in-houseMarked plainly, so you know which of it needs us and which of it doesn't.

Before you book

We're not the right choice for everyone.

Before you ask

The questions everyone has about a free hour.

There isn't one. We've found that showing the work beats describing it — an hour of real analysis tells you more about whether you want to work with us than any proposal could. Plenty of operators take the plan and run it themselves. That's a fine outcome; the plan is yours either way.

It's the average annual savings identified across the plans we've delivered. Identified, not banked — realizing it depends on decisions only you can make. Some operations come in well above it and some below, and we'll tell you honestly during the hour which one yours looks like.

Access to your accounting system and your most recent financials during the call — that's all. No documents to send ahead, no forms, no data room. If you can share a screen for an hour, we can do the work.

It's a working session, and you'll know within ten minutes. We spend the hour in your numbers, not on our credentials. If at the end we don't think we're the right fit, we say so and the report still comes.

A senior CFO from our team — the same people who do the engagement work. Not a business development rep, and not someone who has to take your questions back to somebody else.

Hotels and resorts, restaurants and restaurant groups, private clubs, senior living communities, HOAs and condo associations, nonprofits and churches, and owner-led businesses. The session is the same in all of them — what changes is the benchmark set we hold your numbers against. Tell us which on the form and we'll put the right person on the call.

We scope it in writing before anything starts — what we're doing, what it costs, and what 'finished' looks like, with exit criteria agreed up front. And if you decide within 24 hours of receiving your plan, your first month includes twenty-five hours at no charge.
